Team Fortress 2 (1) TF2

Some free-to-play games are more polarizing than others, with some sides taking the stance of “great, totally non-exploitative implementation” and others thinking “total pay-to-win trash.” We’d like to see on what side of the spectrum the gaming public — and by that, we mean you guys — think of certain F2P games, and so we’ve invented something new called Love It Or Hate It?

Every week, we’ll present a new F2P game and give you the option of passing judgment on it. Then we’ll look back at it the next week and see what people thought. There are no prizes, except for the satisfaction of knowing you clicked on a button and made something happen. Really, what else do you need?

Runescape fared surprisingly well for such an old game, gathering up a 36.8% positive vote versus just 22% negative. Even having a relatively low “Meh” total of 41.2% was less than that of newer, shinier games that usually have opinionated fans and haters alike. Not too bad at all.

Well, this should be an easy one, right? I mean, who doesn’t love Team Fortress 2? Well, my nephew, for one, who’s into more hardcore shooters and poo-pooed my saying I played TF2. And, admittedly, it’s starting to show its age and has a lot of competitors coming to market soon. But it’s still well-loved by most folks… right?

Tell us what you think of RuneScape, and leave a comment below to expound upon your views!

Love and hate it. Love its quirkiness and frantic action but hate that feeling i get every time i get my ass handed to me by a guild of kids half my age. There’s not much to dislike about the game from my end, it comes to aesthetic and weather you like team based shooters. The graphics can be off putting if you prefer realism but it has pretty much everything i can ask for in gameplay in the genre. And I must shamefully admit i love hats..

The TF:GO update and the denial of a proper Halloween event along with other things just broke my heart for this game I had over thousands of hours It looks like it ends here.

It a cool game but the community is very immature and it has a bunch of troll on the forum and in game for team fortress 2.it also lost it way of teamwork. Star rate: 1/5 (Very Poor) Community

The fact that you can blow your enemies into bloody chunks is enough to argue that this game is not for kids.
