There's always also something like Torchlight -- I think that Torchlight 2 is coming out at some point soon.

I'm not sure what "demonic features" means in this context, however.

League Of Legends is nothing like Diablo.

Drakensang Online was a good suggestion. Theres also Fortune Online, Path of Exile in beta, Mythos is another good suggestion but i thought that one felt too grindy really early on.
Darkspore is another game similar to Diablo but isnt free to play, it has been on sale several times for $6 tho.

Try Hellgate, that is a really kickass fun game and it plays in a third person view like a shooting game but its very similar to Diablo in that you can just farm demons like crazy, its really cool, definitely check it out.

I forget what else right now.

I thought Mythos shut down? I could only find the euro version, and wasn't sure when I clicked the other mythos

Forgotten Elements (http://www.forgottenelements.com/). I have never played Diablo myself, so I have no idea of how it is, but everyone playing Forgotten Element say that it is much like Diablo, so ...

It doesn't have many players though, which is a shame, because it is a nice game, and it is quite unique and cleverly thought out in many ways.

It is completely free, and there is no way of paying for anything to improve your character.

Get yourself into the Path of Exile beta

It's coming along nicely. Good graphics. Good customization. Great stuff. Getting into beta isn't exactly easy though.

I second this. Path of Exile is amazingly like Diablo and it uses a scavenger economy rather than a currency system--this makes it interesting--but I forgot to mention it because I couldn't figure out if it was still in beta or not.

Lol League of Legends is Moba-style, not like diablo. :S

Anyway, Drakensang is the best option imo.

Yeah I agree with some of the posters. Try Mythos. It's the closest thing to Diablo.

And to one of the above posters, yeah. Mythos EU did shut down. But there is the Global version run by a different company. The OBT just started a few weeks ago.

I agree Torchlight is a great game comparable to diablo. But too bad there's no multiplayer at the moment..
