The wait is over! The Battlefield Play4Free is now available to anyone, anytime, anywhere for free. Today, EA launched Battlefield Play4Free, a deep adrenaline-filled Battlefield all-out war experience. Battlefield Play4Free delivers an endlessly entertaining experience on the PC that combines the most popular maps from Battlefield 2 with the popular classes and powerful weapons of Battlefield: Bad Company 2, all rendered with stunning visuals. Battlefield Play4Free raises the bar in the free-to-play space even further with 16 different vehicles including the Mil Mi-28 attack helicopter, its nemesis the F35 VTOL jet fighter, the massive Russian T-90 main battle tank, and the hard to catch LSV light strike vehicle.

Players progress through the game to learn new combat skills, and earn in-game currency to spend on a massive array of devastating weapons and equipment to propel players to victory in 32-player online battles. Battlefield Play4Free simulates the career of a professional soldier and as player’s progress, they can upgrade their physical capabilities, available equipment and combat expertise. At every level the player is creating a more unique, more customized soldier and creating their own, personal playing style to take to the battlefield.

Its 2018. Even though games like Fortnite and PUBG rule the online scene these days, I keep on remembering and missing BFP4F. The fond memories, the epic wins, the 'rage quit' worthy failures, the rugged unpolished yet sufficient graphics, minimal simple effects and overall the right atmosphere of a battlefield game. Something about this game was just right. I just wish it was developed by a more decent , fan base tolerant and open minded publisher than EA.

As a parent I don't have the time to invest in sharping my skills enough to challenge, free time saturated, teenagers - even though I do my best to improve. I will never be able to build as fast in Fortnite, for example. BFP4F offered a more casual game style, where strategy and instincts played a big part. It was simple and fun. With great team work, amazing action and overall fun.

I really miss the simplicity and straight forwardness of this game and sure hope to see it pop up again - with its awesome fan base community. If it does somehow come back I hope it will remain true to its origin.

@DarkShadow39, i'm sure that's the deal in some fps games, but not for this one. Many of the guns in the game are stronger than the starter ones. Skills alone won't get you anywhere, for example, if i walk past any street in Karkand and i see an enemy i'll try my best to shoot him, but if he has a stronger gun like the M16 or the AK, he'll have a bigger advantage over me and and other players who cannot afford to buy better weapons.

R33mix I agree, but most of the fps games out there are based on who has the best weapon in the game. However, if you have the money for it, that does not always mean you have the skills. Weapons are just weapons you need skills to get the job done.

@DarkShadow39 I'm not trying to offend you in any way, but, this game is based around on how much money people have and what they can buy with it. Some people out there just can't afford what the game has to offer. Sure it looks good and fun to play, but for those who can't buy any of the better weapons would just stop playing after a few days.
