Here's What You Need To Know About Watching The Hi-Rez Expo On Twitch
Hi-Rez's annual expo officially kicks off tomorrow in Atlanta, GA. While there are plenty of us who can't be there officially, the good news is that the SMITE and Paladins tournaments are being streamed live via Twitch for all to see.
The other good news is that if you are watching via Twitch you have the opportunity to receive some sweet rewards. Because the event is being presented by Twitch Prime, Hi-Rez is offering not only something to Twitch viewers in general but also an exclusive JT-6000 Janus skin for Prime members (in addition to other rewards that will be announced at the event). Non-Twitch Prime members can still receive prizes but will need to link their Twitch account to their Hi-Rez account in order to do so.
In addition to the tournaments themselves, Twitch viewers will also be able to watch the community cosplay contest and see special reveals throughout the weekend. A full stream schedule is available on the HRX site.
For those interested in things like prize pools, it was also announced today that Hi-Rez has made a few changes to the SWC PC prize pools. Hi-Rez President Stewart Chisam announced the changes via Twitter earlier today, including appearance fees that will be paid to each team.
Finally, for the Paladins fans among us, Hi-Rez has dropped a special video to celebrate HRX.
