Ian Ryan Returns To BioWare As SWTOR Lead Writer
After three years away, writer Ian Ryan is returning to the BioWare fold as the lead writer for the company's free-to-play MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. Ryan will be returning to the company after stints at a few companies; most recently Ubisoft Montreal where he worked as a scriptwriter.
He revealed the career change via Twitter, highlighting his excitement to return to the Star Wars universe.
Excited to announce that I'm joining @BioWare Austin as the new Lead Writer on @SWTOR. It's a great time to return to #StarWars!

When he was last part of the SWTOR team, Ryan worked on Darth Malgus flashpoints, wrote the character Thana Vesh, created content for the Sith Warrior player character, and more.
