Knight Age Open Beta Date Announced
Joymax has announced today that the open beta for Knight Age will begin on August 28th. The popular fantasy MMORPG had a fairly short closed beta on July 10th through the 17th before shutting down to gear up for the open beta. Still in that short amount of time thousands of players flooded the Knight Age servers and caused the Knight Age website to be temporarily shut down to control the influx of visitors.
Joymax has learned from this and will be allowing players to start downloading the client on August 14th a full two weeks before the beta is scheduled to start. If you played in the closed beta you will only need to patch your client in order to be ready for the open beta.
The open beta will also introduce a variety of new content that was not available to players in the closed beta, including the much touted 50 versus 50 guild battles. Also to be included is an update to the Pupa system, which allows players to raise and breed their companion pets.
Our own Magicman took a first look at Knight Age during the closed beta. You can check out the official Knight Age site here http://www.joymax.com/knightage/ for more information.
