If League of Legends had existed 20 years ago, maybe the ads for it would have looked something like this. Then again, if you had a ’90s computer with ’90s Internet, it would probably have taken you about 15 minutes just to load the one-minute ad.
That said, the ad isn’t quite accurate. League requires 8 GB of hard drive space. A high-density 3.5″ floppy disk can contain 1.44 MB of data, requiring 5,556 disks, a little more than the “thousand-disk installation package.” And there’s no way a dog could play League; how would it know when to scream at its teammates when they mess up? You can’t pee on someone through the Internet.
