While the official reveal of SOE's upcoming sandbox MMO Everquest Next isn't slated until noon tomorrow, John Smedley, President of SOE just had to tease fans with a little taste of what's to come.

During the SOE Live welcome reception, Smedley revealed the company had solicited the services of legendary composer Jeremy Soule who will forge the soundtrack for Everquest Next. If you haven't heard of Soule before, you most certainly have heard his music.

Jeremy has composed some of the most iconic music in recent gaming history. He has composed soundtracks for games such as Skyrim, Guild Wars 2, Oblivion, Knights of the Old Republic, World of Warcraft, Dawn of War and many more. He is by all respects, the Hans Zimmer of gaming.

The addition of Soule is just the tip of the EQ Next iceberg though, and anyone interested in finding out what's in store for the MMO can tune in to the official reveal tomorrow on the official SOE livestream at 12pm PST. While I am sworn to secrecy for now, I can tell you what you will see will most likely BLOW YOUR MIND.

Keep your eyes peeled for more EQ Next information throughout the weekend right here on MMOBomb.

Can't be all that legendary. Most skyrim fanboys are too busy quoting fus ro crap to even remember, let alone appreciate music.

He is 100%. His music is just so epic, the Elder Scrolls III-V, GW2, and KoToR. I can tell the music in this is going to be a treat.
