Given its ties to the area that once was controlled by the USSR, it makes sense that Wargaming would pay special attention to Soviet vessels in World of Warships. Today the company released a patriotic trailer for the upcoming line of Soviet cruisers that will be coming to the game in update 0.5.4.

Wargaming’s got 10 tiers of Soviet cruisers in the works, from the already-in-the-game Tier I Orlan to the Tier X Moskva, named after the Russian capital of Moscow. With them will probably arrive the usual grumblings about how overpowered Wargaming makes Soviet/Russian vehicles, if they haven’t started already.

For Mother Russia!

“With them will probably arrive the usual grumblings about how overpowered Wargaming makes Soviet/Russian vehicles, if they haven’t started already.” At the same time in Russia there’s always “grumbling” about Americans being OP because “they pay more”, about Germans being OP because developers secretly hate Russia, etc. Sigh. I wish everyone would just give these conspiracy theories a rest. -_-

There is a guide written by pro WoT players you can DL. Called Tank Guide in PDF.
It’s true to a degree. The nations are like classes. USSR brawler tanks. Germans best sniping. US best terrain. China is brawler. UK is Hill fighting. FR is hit and run. Respectively. Noobs just pick a nation and think “this is op”. But on that note World of Tanks/boats has piss poor presentation/explination. They hide it and mislable tanks (like mediums that are heavy etc)
