Warhammer 40,000 Dark Nexus Arena, a new free-to-play MOBA based on the popular 40K franchise will be hitting Steam Early Access Wednesday, Dec. 9.

The new MOBA differs itself from other games in the genre with the amount of control it offers players over their characters, creating a game that combines the experiences of a shooter and a MOBA. Every basic attack and special ability requires players to aim. In addition, players can dash and take cover.

Dark Nexus Arena also eliminates the three-lane structures found in most MOBAs, opting for an open battle arena more fitting to the 40K universe.

More information on Warhammer 40,000 Dark Nexus Arena can be found on the official site.

Heroes of the Storm < N1

  2. Played this game at Pax and it has enough action to it that it can fill a gap that LoL/Dota/Hots do not fill.

Shorter matches and more focused on early team fights. Also has items for some customization of the characters. Excited this is early access so we will have a bigger player base.

In the grim darkness of the far future there are only MOBAs.
I mean I love WH40K, but damn not another one of those.
