The mysterious, dangerous– and developing world of Chantra is bound to receive a whole new catalog of potential heroes very soon, as Closed Beta pre-registration has submerged for the PvP MMO Archlord 2. Potential testers can use their existing gPotato.eu, gPotato.com or Webzen.com accounts to sign up for the Closed Beta testing scheduled to begin in June, and guess what– even Facebook has got an option readily available for social network gamers abroad to sync up.

Developers have implemented a standard lottery system, and those who sign up will be randomly chosen for a key. The only mentioned method of increasing the odds of becoming a part of Beta from the ground up is by joining an additional daily draw– also conveniently located on Facebook. However, if you are already familiar with the realm of Archlord, have an existing account, and have been active on it within the passed three months, you are encouraged to pre-register with it, as developers plan to pay their due to the already committed Archlord fan base.

Prospects are sounding optimistic for a game that is still in Alpha, suggesting that PvP battles of upwards of four hundred players are in order. Considering no NDA will be implemented, we shall wait and see if these promises of massive PvP glory are a tall tale, or reality in the making.

If you’d like to see for yourself, register at the official website, and if are you wired in to the social-networksphere, increase your odds on Facebook here.

  1. 43k registered. Got my key on the first try, so I thought everyone who signs up gets one. Surprised to see people have to retry.

  2. Never played the 1st one.

Like the sound of the mass pvp battle (ever since gw2 kept yapping about ‘epic’ mass pvp battles…..well 150 ppl isn’t epic enough for me especially when most disappear into a cloud of skill effects)
