Martial arts based MMORPG Age of Wushu was released today for North America. Players who participated in the beta will get to keep all guilds, titles and characters they earned prior to launch. Just yesterday we caught up with Snail Games in an interview to check in on how the company was preparing the MMO for the western market.

Interesting note, Snail Games plans on introducing a retail version of the game available on April 23rd at select retailers. The retail version includes several extras, including VIP access, in-game currency, unique fashion sets and mounts, and more.

Players who purchase the retail version will also have the opportunity to train with “Jet Li” in an exclusive single player area called Twilight Village Adventure.

For those of you interested in being a part of this wuxia-themed world you can sign-up here.

  1. This game seems like a lot of fun, but since it’s all for the PvP I won’t be participating in any gameplay. I’m a PvE kind of gamer with a very little bit of PvP on the side. Such a shame when companies make there games aimed at one audience =\

  2. Gotta hand it to this game: this is the only game I’ve ever played that made martial arts combat seem extremely boring.

  3. 600-300 on fiber cable 100mb
its worse and worse best server i found with above was white tiger its not playible in europe sadly.

so waiting for EU release will will prolly happen in the nearest ten years…

  4. just wait for age of wulin (EU version)
theyre not doing any retail bullshit p2w stuff (as much as NA) and it wont have any subscription

  5. not mounted…

I will try to play this from EU today will post on forums later 🙂

I really hope that Snail will give us a EU server cause god knows that I do not want to play on Gpotato

anyway will get back on ping later Wootz

    • I checked the forum, there isn’t an IP restriction so I’ll be giving it a whirl, EU version is in closed beta so not bothered for waiting for that
