ArcheAge Drops Garden Of The Gods Expansion Today
ArcheAge's Garden of the Gods expansion goes live today, bringing with it new zones, a new story quest, and a new raid. You'll need to be at least level 55, though it's suggested that you be Ancestral Level 26 and have a Gearscore of around 14,000. It seems that the so-called gods need to take better care of their garden to keep out all the dangerous "pests" within.
The Garden varies between tropical, arid, and subarctic climates, with all three factions sharing respawn points. While you'll be safe near those points, it can get a little more dangerous as you go farther out, with a rotating war-and-peace schedule involving all three factions.
And other players aren't the only dangers. There are four new world bosses and an open-world raid boss, Anthalon, who spawns Saturdays and Sundays at 9 p.m. UTC. If that's not your cup of tea, you can embark on 59 new main story quests and "follow your destiny as the Chosen One," which is a totally new and revolutionary idea for an MMORPG. /s
There's lots more in the expansion, including the Divine Blessing basic skill, daily quests, zone-exclusive items, achievements, new equipment, and more. Read about it all in the patch notes on the ArcheAge site.
