Dota 2 International

It's that time of year again, where players can contribute to the prize pool for the biggest Dota 2 tournament around and also net some cool stuff for themselves in the process. And this year's offering appears to be a first for the MOBA: a co-op PvE adventure.

"Siltbreaker" is the name of a new multiplayer campaign coming to Dota 2 later this year. Act I: The Sands of Fate arrives later this month, while Act II: A Vault in the Deep drops in July. The adventure accommodates a party of four as they travel into "the blackest depths of Dark Reef" to "battle through a diverse landscape of loathsome monsters, cunning traps, and other lethal terrors." Sounds delightful!

There's a ton more to to go with Battle Pass ownership:

  • Earn ways to get more tokens for all your team members with Battle Point Tributes
  • Embark on team-based quests for more rewards
  • Weekly tokens to wager on matches to earn more Battle Points and Levels
  • The opportunity to vote on the next hero to receive an arcana effect
  • And a bunch of cosmetic effects for towers, relics, terrain, taunts, and sound effects
  • Many of the prizes are locked behind progressing to a certain battle level in the game. You can purchase a Battle Pass for $9.99 to start at level 1 or shell out $36.99 to start at level 75. You can also buy levels at the rate of $2.49/5, $4.99/11, or $9.99/24. As usual, 25% of the sales of the Battle Pass will go to the prize pool for the Dota 2 International, which stands at over $4 million as of this writing.

You can get the full details of the Dota 2 International Battle Pass on the game's website.
