Delta Force Continues Celebrating Two Years Of Tactical Action By Offering Players A Look At The Future
New maps, a new mode, and a new story series that starts today.

Delta Force has been celebrating its second anniversary, but it’s not done yet. Today (September 26), Team Jade is continuing the celebration by offering players of the free-to-play tactical shooter a look at what’s on the horizon. The future holds a few new things for players to look forward to, such as a new Operation map, a new Warfare map that takes advantage of the Unreal Engine 5 update, and a bomb defusal mode.
The new Operations map, Siege: Valkyrie, will launch in early 2027. As you can tell from the name it’s set in a city under siege. The city is split into two areas that make up the rulesets for the map. The inner city is filled with danger while in the outer city, only the strongest will survive. A unique feature of this map is that it’s also the first one in which players at different difficulty tiers will be competing in the same match. So, for some, it will be higher risk than others.
As mentioned above, a new Warfare map that takes advantage of the newly implemented Unreal Engine 5 features. This map, which will drop in November, will be more visually appealing and will be followed by more in 2027.
The next feature, players won’t have to wait too long for. In fact, it drops tomorrow (September 27) on PC an mobile devices. Detonation is the game’s new bomb defusal mode in which one team is tasked to plant a bomb. It’s up to their opponents to either stop them from planting it or to defuse the bomb if it does get planted. Tomorrows drop is the beta for the mode, which will be available for console players later this year.
Today, Team Jade launched the “Operator Archives” on Delta Force’s official channels. This offers players a closer look at the game’s lore with a story series that delves into the Operators’ backstories. And finally, a new feature named Operator Quarters that grants players a customizable space where they can hang out will drop in early 2027.
