Delta Force Fortune Run

Okay, this may seem like an odd event. It’s not every day we associate imperial porcelain with free-to-play shooters. But, today’s apparently that day. Delta Force developer Team Jade is launching a new update in the free-to-play shooter featuring the limited-time Fortune Run event tomorrow (August 8). This event celebrates the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Institute’s inscription to the UNESCO World Heritage List on July 25 by turning real imperial porcelan from the institute into in-game loot.

During the event, which runs through August 28, players will be able to obtain treasure maps and go for a treasure hunt in one of five maps. They’ll need to follow clues to uncover relics. Of course, other players will be trying to stop them, so the next objective is to extract before they get their chance. There are 60 treasure maps to be had, and three imperial-tier relics up for grabs.

The relics are digitized versions of real imperial porcelain from China’s Ming dynasty – the Plain Sancai Duck-Shaped Incense Burner, the Underglaze Copper-Red Cloud-Dragon Plum Vase, and the Doucai Chicken Cup (Semi-Finished). Finding the treasures will earn players a variety of rewards, including 2,600 limited-time Delta Tickets and the Morning Blossom legendary weapon appearance bundle among other things.
