Earn Stained-Glass-Art Planeswalker Cards In MTG Arena's War of the Spark: Chronicles Event
Wizards of the Coast has a multi-week event brewing for Magic: The Gathering Arena that will have players competing in a variety of formats, with cool and shiny stained-glass-art Planeswalker cards offered as prizes.
War of the Spark: Chronicles is broken up into five weeks, each with its own theme: Momir (May 23-31), Pauper (June 1-7), Singleton (June 7-14), Overflowing Counters (June 14-21), and Ravnica Constructed (June 21-28).
You'll earn a stained-glass card for your 3rd, 9th, and 15th win each week, for a total of 15. Five more -- one each week -- are obtainable by signing up for e-mail alerts, and 16 more will be available in the Arena Shop for gems or gold.
That's 36 total Planeswalker stained-glass-art cards up for the offing. Wait, let's look at the fine print:
*War of the Spark Glass Card Styles are cosmetic only and do not give you a copy of the card itself.
Oh. Well, if you have the Planeswalkers already, these will make for a neat addition to your collection and provide some unique flair. And if you don't have them yet, you'll be playing enough games over those five weeks that you're bound to get at least one, right?
