Who’s up for a little off-roading… with machine guns? If so, you’re in luck. Today, Enlisted dropped the new “Off-road Patrol” update, introducing lightweight off-road vehicles that players can use to reach their goals quickly. After all, as we all know, the shortest distance between two points is a straight line. Add some weaponry so you can deal with whoever decides to bar your path, and you’re good to go.

With the update drop, players now have access to new researchable squads that introduce the Soviet GAZ-64 DS-39, the German Kübelwagen 82, the Japanese Type 95 Kurogane, and the American Willys M1919A4. Players can use them to take control points and never have to leave the vehicle. And it’s not just machine guns they’re armed with. The vehicles also have boxes with grenades.

In addition to the new content, Off-road Patrol also brings graphical improvements to the free-to-play war shooter, specifically Path Traced Global Illumination on PC. The feature makes indrect lighting more accurate. At the same time, new ray tracing presets are available on PC and console. Details on the upgrades and additional content can be found on the game’s site.
