Today, Netmarble announced the next major update for the free-to-play sci-fi MMORPG RF Online Next. The update continues the game’s story in Chapter 10, taking players to the frozen region of Severia, introduces a new MAU, and more.
the new region introduces several new areas to explore while completing main, side, and faction quests. And as there are new place to explore, Exploration Reports and Memory Chip progression has been expanded. Players can also look forward to two new field bosses, MPF-01 Castle and Sarpedion.
A new Material Conversion system allows players to use unbound equipment to obtain equipment of a higher grade. The catch is that the equipment used needs to be Rare grade or above. In addition, the exclusive Circlet equipment type and special collection items are obtained though this system.
As mentioned, a new Legendary MAU will be arriving with the update. “Tempest” specializes in long-range combat and features powerful AoE attacks, freezing skills, and more.
