Gamescom 2026: Aion 2 Drops Launch Date With Action Filled Trailer
Players can sign up for a ‘Launch Scale Test’ before hand.
NC made a showing during ONL today, bringing news for three different games, one of which was the upcoming MMORPG Aion 2. The company shared an action-filled trailer with fans and confirmed the game’s launch date, which is a little over a month away. The game will launch on PC (both Steam and PURPLE) on October 5. Of course, as stated in the game’s first global dev stream, those who paid for Early Access will be able to play 30 days ahead of that.
As it turns out, there’s another way for players to experience the game ahead of launch – for a couple of days anyway. On September 17 and 18, NC will be running a ‘Launch Scale Test’ that features an environment similar to what they’re expecting at launch. The obvious goal is to make sure everything is stable, but it is a way to see what the game is all about ahead of launch. Those interested can apply via the Steam page.
