Gamescom 2026: Aniimo Announces Global Launch Date
The wait really is almost over.

Earlier this month, PlayStation announced that Pawprint Studio’s upcoming free-to-play open-world creature collection game Aniimo was available to pre-order on the system. Of course, the game’s store page had a launch date listed. That’s pretty much standard practice for those kinds of things. As it turns out, the launch date wasn’t one they just made up.
Today, during gamescom’s ONL preshow, a launch trailer dropped for the game listing a PC (Windows, Steam, and EGS), PS5, and Xbox launch date of September 16. Yes, the PlayStation store page stated the 15. But as this is a global launch, it’s most likely due to the launch being simultaenous, meanign those of us in the US will be able to access it somewhere between 8:00 pm and 11:00 pm on the 15th.
For those planning to play on mobile devices, there will be a bit of a wait. The game will launch on iOS and Android on September 23.
