Gamescom 2026: Launch Date Announced For Ananta
It’s the best kind of ridiculous.
As you all know, I’ve been keeping an eye on this one – partially because I feel like it could fill the Saints Row-shaped hole in my heart. Admittedly, Neverness to Everness has done a bit of that. But Ananta just seems like it’ll be closer to that experience – if for no other reason than the main character seems to run off at the mouth about as much as any of the Saints, including Johnny Gat.
So, when NetEase announced that the open-world game would be part of today’s Opening Night Live at Gamescom, I was pretty excited. And yes, even pondered them announcing a launch date. (Although, I was really expecting some rounds of global testing to be announced first.) As it turns out, a launch date is exactly what we got.
Players can expect the game to drop on January 15, 2027. Yes, that’s still several months away. So, perhaps there will be some global test announcements between now and then.
