HoYoverse Announces Petit Planet Launch Window At Gamescom

Yesterday’s ONL was surprisingly stacked with news on free-to-play games, whether that be first time announcements or launch dates. Another game that made it into the latter category is HoYoverse’s cozy life simulation game, Petit Planet. For those not keeping track, that’s the one that’s like Animal Crossing… complete with cute fuzzy animals… but players tend planets instead of islands. The game also has a complete social hub with a coffee shop and other hangout activities.

As announced yesterday, the game now has a launch window of “Winter 2026”. So probably late November at earliest. But likely sometime in December, since that’s when Winter actually begins.

In the meantime, there will be another opportunity to play the game before launch. During the stream yesterday, would-be players were informed that the final beta test would be coming soon.
