Marvel Rivals Next Update Takes The Fight To The Gods
The Mystery of Thebes introduces the new Strategist character Jubilee, updates Black Widow, and more.
In just three days, Marvel Rivals will be kicking of Season 9. The new season focuses on the Collapsed Timeline where Apocalypse has set his site on culling the gods who managed to burn the world while fighting among themselves. Things don’t go as he planned, however, as he’s assassinated first. This is where things pick up in Season 9: The Mystery of Thebes.
With the launch of the new update on July 10, players will have access to the free-to-play hero shooter’s latest Hero, the mutant Jubilee, who takes on a Strategist role. Yes, you get to play with fireworks… of a sort. They’re the only fireworks I’ve heard of being used to heal. But they’re still dangerous, blinding and damaging enemies.
The update also introduces a rework for Black Widow, updates the Team-Up System, and more. A full rundown of the new features is available in the Dev Vision video below.
