Nexon Announces Beta Run Of Spanish Language Support
Players will be able to try it out beginning with the v.271 update.

After over two decades of side-scrolling anime MMORPG action, MapleStory is getting Spanish language support. Somewhat, anyway. The feature, which will arrive with the v.271 update will be available as a “beta service”.
What does that mean, exactly? Well, for one thing, not everything will be available in Spanish. As stated in the announcement on the MapleStory Steam page, the official language will still be English, and things like NPC and monster names, items, and the like will be in English, as will the UI. Descriptions will be available in Spanish, and Spanish translations for dialog will be created using automated translation technology that’s been optimized for MapleStory.
To use this new feature, players will need to go to the Settings menu, select the “Game” tab and look for “Language Settings” at the bottom. Select the Spanish option and you’ll have to click accept the notice about the beta language service in order for it to work. This is a one-time thing, so you’ll be able to swap back and forth. Just know that you’ll have to restart the game for language changes to take effect.
