Overwatch’s Next Playable Character Appears To Be An Overworked Cyborg Crime Boss
The Hashimoto Clan elder swoops in to handle what her subordinates can’t in the latest Hero Trailer.

Blizzard has revealed the latest Overwatch Hero, Shion, in her cinematic trailer, titled “End of the Line”. I’ll admit, I know very little about the game’s lore, so I don’t know anything about the Hashimoto Clan and the newly revealed elder. What I do know, based on this video, is that she has a very dedicated, but not necessarily competent, subordinate, resulting in her needing to personally handle bigger matters like Sojourn showing up to disrupt her plans – and that she’s a cyborg.
As you’d expect when promoting a character like that, the trailer Blizzard dropped is filled with action and unorthodox combat maneuvers. There’s even a little bit of one-sided romance. Shion will arrive as part of the free-to-play team shooter’s Season 3 update: “Into the Tiger’s Den”, on June 16.
