During the Gamescom 2014 Xbox news briefing, Hi-Rez Studios announced that their third-person MOBA, SMITE, would be coming to Xbox One next year, via the ID@Xbox self-publishing program.

MOBAs have typically been the purview of PC gamers, with a few exceptions like Guardians of Middle-earth and Super Monday Night Combat, but with over five million players, SMITE is arguably the highest-profile MOBA to make its way to consoles yet. You’ll have to forgive me, though, if I’m not anxious to communicate over voice chat…

You can read the full announcement here. So, do you think you’ll be looking to smite some noobs on your Xbox One?

  1. Very good controls, killer of all other mobas because of that, byt boring anyway, few maps , u playing over and over, then buy new character and do the same, neverending brainless pvp, there is nothing else

  2. Best moba game ever made, I hate moba games, as I tried dota, LoL, and others, but Smite got my full attention, i am lvl 30(max cap), I got almost 33 god mastered, 1 god legendary, 2 half way to become legendary too.
I play atleast 2h aday here, Conq last from 20-45 min assault the best mod, last between 13-30 min
and few other mods such as Siege, 3vs3, Arena, and battle of the day

the only wrong about this game is the new god which always they r op, but they get fixed after like few days, sometimes 2 weeks max. But u can play League matches as u can bann 4 gods from a match and the other team could bann 4 too 🙂
