This Is Not A Test. Steel Aces Hosting “Open Play” Weekend
Players will be able to carry everything they unlock into launch.

Developer Armative Studios kicked off an “Open Play” weekend for their upcoming free-to-play tank MMO Steel Aces today. This is not a test. In fact, it will allow players to (mostly) experience what the game will be like at launch. That includes all the main features (but not monetization).
The great news for those intending to play the game when it goes live is that anything they unlock during the Open Play period will remain on their accounts and carry into the live game. That means they’ll have a bit of a headstart at launch.
Steel Aces is designed around over 100 years of armored warfare history, and features more than 150 historically accurate vehicles designed with the assistance of military museums and other individuals familiar with tanks. These range from the Interwar Period to the early Cold War.
To take part in the Open Play weekend, those interested will need to download the game from its official site.
