Warframe’s Nightwave Is About To Return In A Shocking Way
There are 1999-themed rewards to be had.
On August 12, Nightwave returns to Warframe. If you’re unfamiliar with this, it’s a pirate radio broadcast that tells stories from the Origin system as well as a series of activities (Daily, Weekly, and Acts) that offer rewards. This time around, Amir of The Hex has taken over and turned the event into Amir’s Shockwave.
During the event, player can earn several items, including the 1999-themed Globakk Syandna and Teisatz Oculus, among other things. The devs will provide more details on rewards closer to the event’s launch.
On an additional note, a six-day KIM mini-narrative adventure will also be kicking off in the free-to-play MMO shooter on August 12 – also featuring Amir as he guildes players through a mini Fable & Frontiers adventure. To take part in this, players will need to have completed The Hex Quest’s finale and reached rank 5 with The Hex Syndicate. They’ll also need a KIM Chemistry of “Close” with Amir.
