World Of Warships’ June Update Celebrates US Independence Day With A New Narrative Campaign
The “Dawn of a Nation” campaign features four chapters based on the history of the Thirteen Colonies.

Today, Wargaming dropped Update 15.5 in its free-to-play shooter World of Warships. As we’re halfway through June, and only a few weeks away from the annual celebration of the United States independence on July 4, the update brings the celebration in-game with the new “Dawn of a Nation” narrative event that takes a look at the history of the original Thirteen Colonies.
During the event, a new chapter will unlock once a week for a total of four chapters. Progressing through the story will earn players themed rewards, including historical commanders, the Betsy Ross Flag, a tier VIII cruiser, and more. Players can also pick up Progress Tokens that can be used to purchase Dawn of a Nation containers containing pieces of a themed historical collection and a rare camouflage for the Supership Maine.
Players can also pick up rewards from a special event pass, with goodies that complement their American fleets. The first line features a Statue of Liberty Commander with a voiceover and a Stars and Stripes camouflage, among other things. Full patch notes on the update can be found on the World of Warships site.
