Return to the world of Atreia in NC’s sequel to Aion. Set 200 years after the original MMORPG, Aion 2 expands on the original game and is described by the developer as being the “complete version”, achieving what NC had hoped to do before.

Aion 2 is built on Unreal Engine 5 and the game’s world is 36 times larger than that of its successor. It features both aerial and underwater combat, and allows players to use their own wings to explore using sustained flight (with a stamina system). The entire game is designed with verticality in mind.

The game is highly customizable, beginning with the robust character creation system that will allow players to create a character unique to them. They can then further customize with different skins, wings, tamable pets and minions, and even the player’s class.

In addition to the game’s story content, the game features a variety of PvE content ranging from solo instances to large-scale raids. This includes solo challenges, 5 and 10-player group content, seasonal events, and more. The game also features PvPvE content between the game’s primary factions, the playable factions Elyos and Asmodian, and the NPC faction, the Balaur.
