Customizable instances? Yea the game that invented instances(Anarchy Online) had that same feature. Seems like content is being lost and then when its brought back its considered unique. If you want to create quality games then look at the past. Games are getting worse not better.

    Just a suggestion
don’t look stare too long on a script, we are watching you, so look at camera as well.
other than that, you did pretty much good job for hosting a videogames show, good luck.

    and a question
what happen to old narrator? did he get fired?
tbh I know mmobomb because of Free weekly video, so I might miss his voice someday.

also I hope mmobomb can get their own channel on youtube, because I also knew that freemmogamer & mmobomb are the same, for what reason… I don’t know why.

  4. cacalips on July 13, 2012

Why is the staff actively posting on this TOPIC but not on MMORPG conversations in other threads???

    • mmobomb Author on July 13, 2012

And why you are always so annoyed, regularly irritated, angry and negative? just chill out cacalips.

This show is very informative and pretty unique. If you don’t like it then don’t watch it. Everyone wants to be a critic, nobody wants to be mindful anymore. >.>

  6. Echoman on July 11, 2012

Magicman you lucky bastard, if i were you i wouldn’t hesitate to ask Jess out on a date, and i hope your wife doesn’t read this cause im gona get killed by her for this. πŸ™‚

    • Magicman on July 11, 2012

HAHAHA! Yeah the wife probably would have an issue with me doing that! Funniest comment in the thread goes to you so far my friend!

  7. Skozz on July 11, 2012

C9 was a big let down. nice graphics. but a repetitive mess of nothing.
Im not saying Vindictus is better. but it has a bit more going for it.

    • phonz on July 10, 2012

      I completely agree with you.
I would have played C9 if it wasn’t more of the same thing Vindictus was already doing. Plus, I’ve already invested some coin in Vindictus.

  13. BizzY on July 10, 2012

Good video and nice improvement. Keep it up jessica

  14. sethsamson on July 10, 2012

Warframe is based on motion pictures and anime series Guyver

  15. Stacy on July 10, 2012

The Repopulation looks great. I’m also looking forward to C9. I’m going to download that tonight and give it a try. I’m going to feel guilty cheating on Aion, but oh well. πŸ˜› I’ll want something fresh to play anyway while waiting for Guildwars 2 to arrive. I ordered it last week and I HOPE it gets here before the 20th so I can play the last beta weekend before launch.

BTW, Jessica Brohard did a great job with this video. I enjoyed her commentary. Her jokes made me giggle and her personality really shines. I hope to see her do more of these.

    • meee on July 10, 2012

also try soul captor , the beta says closed beta but its really an open beta
      beautiful mmo game 2
i hope soul captor appears in next weeks show because its smexy , i liked it more then c9 personally , like c9 but open world FTW

      • Stacy on July 11, 2012

Thanks, meee, I’ll look into Soul Captor on your recommendation. πŸ™‚ They did talk about it already in F2P Cast (Ep. 28) last week. It sounds like it got some mixed reception but both Magicman and his wife said they where going to play it a bit more before they decide for sure whether they really like it or not. I think I will try it it out too. Thanks for the recommendation. πŸ™‚

  16. meeee on July 10, 2012

jessica is soooo cute and funny , it makes the show tons of fun
and that commodore 64 line made me ROFLMAO

    • astranime on July 11, 2012

      Yay it was so funny…
Laughing at those who can not get a better computer…
No wait, actually made me feel bad =(
I guess that was not the reason for the joke (or at least that what i expect) but she only needed to point me and laugh at the end to make me feel even worse…

Plis dont make this kind of jokes again =(

      • astranime on July 11, 2012

Mmm i watched the video again and the comment is not so offensive = P
maybe i was a little sensitive

anyway good job (i need to make my job to get new gear =P)

  17. Dragoninja on July 10, 2012

This video was better. I still feel like the new vids are repeating old information. But I personally like all the corny jokes. I chuckled at the Commodore 64 comment. And you can’t beat a cute lady. Like, REALLY cute. Go internet!

Keep up the good work, or I’m going to turn you into a gnome with leprosy.

  18. Genesis on July 10, 2012

Finnaly a new free to play weekly … i was worried ^.^

    • astranime on July 11, 2012

surely make the shootings takes a little longer…
      plus the video editing

  19. Rockmeo on July 10, 2012

AWESOME , i love this girl ^^ hes gorgoues and wears pink bra! we love this girl ;p!

    • Dragoninja on July 10, 2012

That’s a little unnecessary isn’t it? And how the hell can you tell what color bra she is wearing? Secondly, why the hell do you even care? Cute shirt though, I like her eye make-up too.

  20. Nosferat on July 10, 2012

No, those really corny jokes NOOOOOOO!!

I feel as I am surrounded by 80’s show hosts and movie directors that give people like Arnold those really crappy one liners that are not needed.

When there was talk about the system req for firefall, the failed sarcasm of “wait that is all they are announcing, no open beta?” was just too obvious, either act and make it seem that you are sarcastic, or just drop the act and say something more credible like ” For people who expected more news, sorry, no open beta yet, but at least now you if your machine is ready to Firefall”

Commodore 64 joke was also really not needed, it felt forced as if you are putting a gun to someone’s head and asking “was it funny Joe? well was it? Tell me it was or I’ll blow your brains out”

“see that’s how you celebrate something in gaming”, now that was jut wrong in every possible way I can imagine. A new map is not something that you take as an example to show other people and game companies, it’s a map not a 5GB free DLC that offers loads upon loads of content.

The Repopulation, finally something short, precise and to the point, I like that, no forced sarcasm, no forced joking, something simple that gets me and the other people the info that we actually need.

Sorry for being so harsh but it’s as if this show does not know what it wants to do, who is your target? what age group, what category? What is your identity? You want to be funny, serious, core? You can’t be all at once. There are youtube channels with people like the Angry Video Game Nerd, his show has an identity that will appeal to certain people and a certain age group, or angry joe who also presents and reviews games.

    • Nosferat on July 10, 2012

Since I can’t edit the comment I made a reply with a small correction.

“For people who expected more news, sorry, no open beta yet, but at least now you know if your machine is ready to run Firefall”

    • Magicman on July 10, 2012

While I personally disagree with most of this I do want to thank you for your feedback! I just feel a show such as this can certainly be all three. There’s nothing wrong with a sarcastic comment or line here and there in my opinion. It sounds to me like you would prefer someone (anyone, not directed at a particular host) do just read a sentenace or two of ad copy information. If that’s what you like, cool! It would frankly bore me though. πŸ™‚

Thank you very much for your well thought out and descriptive critique Nosferat! πŸ™‚

      • Nosferat on July 10, 2012

That is not what I meant, as a matter of fact it was the contrary. The first show was too bland, lifeless, no energy, nothing. Like you said “just read a sentenace or two of ad copy information”

Second time was an improvement but it went overboard again. I do not know, maybe some people like forced humor, I do not, can’t really relate to that. I never use expressions like “fu lol” I can’t force myself to laugh out loudly on something that trivial.

It’s as if her face does not match her words, she tries to be sarcastic but it clearly shows that she does not really mean sarcasm, nor is she being naturally funny. If you are a natural, be my guest, do jokes do whatever you wish, if not, do as I do…sit in the back and let other people do the funny jokes.

It’s not about reading a bland script, it’s about being natural, speaking from your mind, not rehearsing some jokes that were written a few minutes earlier. It’s about telling me something interesting about the game, something that I can’t find on google or on the game companies webpage.

Been with you guys from the beginning of last year, think this is my last comment here. I do not know what you people want, or what new identity you want put on the show, but it clearly shows that your “remodeling” is making mmobomb change into something different then what it was before, it also shows on the vid graphs, maybe my data is bad but some of the more mature audience is leaving, it is also true that more youngsters are coming…

I wish you my best in your journeys….

        • mmobomb Author on July 10, 2012

I recommend to check our other show “Free to Play Cast” I think you will appreciate more.

        • Magicman on July 11, 2012

I can understand your point. To that point though I am of the opinion that this week’s show was better than last week’s and Jess will continue to get better and better as she gets more and more comfortable. Obviously I don’t want you to leave but if you chose to, know that I wish you the best as well and I hope you find content that delivers things in a way that works better for you. We all like different things and that’s cool…that’s why there’s hundreds of games for us to talk about. I will miss your feedback though as it is insightful and direct without any trolling or name calling and that is CERTAINLY useful feedback and is welcome anytime.

          Wishing you well also,

        • Stacy on July 11, 2012

I’m part of that “mature audience” you’re taking about (at least in age πŸ˜› ) but I’d have to disagree with your assessment of the video. I think that Jessica did a great job and is getting more and more comfortable in front of the camera. Yes, some of it seemed a little forced but I think that’s just a little bit of camera nerves. But her overall presence and commentary was, in my opinion, entertaining and informative.

This site is growing and changing a bit but I like the content and will stick with it and see where it leads. Growing pains are worth it to see it expand and get better. I’m sorry that you’re considering not be a part of the site’s followers anymore. I hope you reconsider, as this site can always benefit from people like you with your straightforward and no-nonsense feedback and input. πŸ™‚ That always helps to get ideas rolling and critique out there for consideration.

    • cacalips on July 10, 2012

I AGREE 100% EVER since that NANBOPALLY pointed out on youtube that they have LOST TOUCH with the GAMER. This show has gone to crap.

      • Magicman on July 10, 2012

Hehe…gotta plug your YouTube name too? lol πŸ™‚ Touche sir!

    • phonz on July 10, 2012

I’m sorry, but sometimes I love these cheesy jokes.
Might just be my personality I guess, but stuff like that (light hearted and corny) consistently brings a smile to my face. I’m not rolling on the floor laughing, but I doubt that’s what the writer was aiming for.

Plus… she’s cute and not guided to be serious. What I mean by this is that I feel like I’m not expected to believe shes geek’d out in gamer knowledge. I don’t mind a nerdgasming Brim once in awhile either though. Another smile worthy point.

I feel like I’ve over-analyzed my self a little bit, but basically what I’m saying is I’ve always liked the show because a very light and loose feel to it and having the new host definitely hasn’t taken anything aware from it.

      • astranime on July 11, 2012

Yeah its exactly the same as you
I personally watch the show for the news =P
But it is better if you have a good editing, nice script and a great host =D (There was a problem with a joke and my feelings but nothing that can not be solved =P)
