  1. A-Bomb to LOTRO – With the news of Amazon’s LOTR game cancellation, I thought it would be a good time to get back into LOTRO. I was quickly reminded that being a F2P player is a pain in the ass in LOTRO and even if I subbed I still wouldn’t have access to most of the paid content…. Can’t help but think that if Amazon’s game was still a threat to LOTRO they might up their game and start changing their payment model….

Mid-Bomb (Because it sits in between) to PoE and GGG – The announcement following the complete shit show that was the Ultimatum League start was open, honest and transparent. This kind of communication is always appreciated and helps establish trust between Devs/Publishers and the player base. However, how many times does a league start have to be lambasted by the community before GGG take drastic steps to avoid meltdowns like this? Additionally, anybody with a lick of sense could have seen the outrage that would be generated by letting streamer jump the que during a league start.

QoTW: Instead of listing the many reasons why I dislike EGS. Let me ask everyone this: Can you name a single feature of the EGS that would convince you to use it over anything else? I think most people would confidently answer “No”. Even those who play Fortnite and Rocket League seem to accept the platform begrudgingly and would probably uninstall EGS if those games were both available on steam.

Feel like my comment this week and been pretty cynical… I’ll try to pick it up next week !
