Still playing Aura Kingdom. The game has averaged a new content patch every other month since launch. They have added 8 new maps, 5 new classes, dozens of dungeons, dozens of new eidolons, and a ton of other stuff. X-Legend confirmed they are working on a mobile app based on the IP. With the launch of Twin Saga, X-legend now has 5 active games in the western market. Even 7 year old Grand Fantasia got a new dungeon in August.

I don’t think it’s fair to say the MMO audience is completely static. A friend of mine only started playing online games last year, my son started this year, and if you count cross-genre, I went from MMORPG only to mixing in a moba and card games. So, it may not be huge growth, but it is at least in part, growing.

For the question of the week: RIFT. RIFT, and more RIFT. I think I will be playing that game until the servers go dark. What’s better? I now have an excuse to make another character, gonna go riftstalker/saboteur hybrid for dungeon tanking. And since they just re-vamped saboteur it’ll be a blast…. pun intended.

Qotw: I’ve been taking advantage of my returnee bonus from Dungeon Fighter Online to level a Demonic Lancer in between games of League. Although I’m starting to reach my limit when it comes to pvp only games, so I’ve been mulling over whether to go back to Wakfu for a bit or try Star Trek Online (since i never really gave it a fair shot to begin with)

QotW: I have recently been sinking my time back into Skyforge. every since I heard about the changes coming this fall it has really got me wanting to play again. Also since Star Trek Online has released on the PS4, have been playing the heck out of that too. I just wish the ground combat was good.
A-Bomb goes to Aeria Games and X Legends for Twin Saga. its a complete copy and paste of dragonmon hunter and Aura Kingdom. I play with a gunner class or whatever its called. I look dumb as hell with my arms flailing around like Drake of the 99 Dragons.

Don’t know if you caught it, but that’s star trek online now released on the PS4

I have been playing the hell out of it too. the ground combat is okay but the ship battles are the best part of the combat.
