  1. Kind of split on the Epic games launcher.

    The good side:
It does sound like an excellent opportunity for old and new titles alike too grow. Any game company that makes more will most likely produce more or even produce better content.

    The bad part:
If this manages to explode in popularity (which it really should just from the reduced cut they take), and manages to force steam to change the ways or even close their doors. What will happen to all the people who bought Licenses (bought games) thru steam?
[And I know if this is even in the cards it will most likely be a long time away]

  2. There should always of been other places to install and play games on the PC.
PC users do not want to be locked into a system called Steam.
All and everyone of these “OTHER” options are a godsend for bringing back the freedom of choice that’s always been held within what is, the PC.

    • you’re in the minority , people don’t want to install 10000 clients , steam is awesome and has awesome discounts and people have already a lot of games there and achievements , not gonna change

    • Imagine having thousands upon thousands of Launcher shortcut icons across your computer monitors….. I like mines in one spot even if it isn’t from Steam which is a nice bonus.
