CrossfireX Shoots Down Bugs And Improves User Experience For Next Patch
Two new maps will be included, with additional TDM and Search & Destroy maps coming soon.
For as well as Lost Ark has done, you'd be forgiven if you forgot about Smilegate's other game launch in February, CrossfireX. The Xbox-only shooter hasn't received nearly the same fanfare as its ARPG counterpart, but that doesn't mean the developers have given up, as improvements slated for an upcoming patch were announced today in a letter from Executive Producer Sooro Boo.
"Mr. Boo" said that "about 80 major bugs" have been fixed and will be listed in details when the patch goes live. Additional options for controller sensitivity and better aim assist are key parts of the improved user experience, along with weapon stat comparisons and easier daily missions.
In terms of content, two new maps are in the works -- Invasion for Spectre mode and melee-only map Submarine -- along with new weapons and silencer parts. There's also going to be a new event battle pass that's free for all players.
Mr. Boo concluded his letter by acknowledging that players want new TDM and Search & Destroy maps, which will be included in a future update.
