Deceit 2 Halloween

Deceit 2 is getting even creepier than it already is.

The game joins in on the Halloween spirit with a new update that transforms Millhaven Asylum into a spooky setting for a candy-collecting event. Players have until November 6 to gather candy and unlock limited-edition costumes. Both Innocents and Terrors can complete tasks to earn candy, which can be redeemed for themed cosmetics — including the first Terror skin for Deceit 2, Masquerade skins from the original Deceit, and new costumed skins for characters introduced in Deceit 2.

There’s a significant gameplay addition in the patch, too. The Warden role will allow a selected Human to banish any player. However, there’s a twist. If a fellow Human is banished, the Warden will be eliminated as well.

“While our Halloween event might look sweet on the outside, the Game Master never shies away from the true intent of his Ritual of Deceit,” said World Makers CEO James Thompson. “While our launch was not what we originally envisioned, we’re focused on providing quality-of-life improvements and addressing feedback to provide the best gameplay experience for our community.” He continued, “Players will start to see these changes in our first post-launch event, which pays tribute to All Hallows Eve and the terrors that lurk in the shadows.”

Deceit 2 is still only available on PC, but console versions of the game are coming soon.
