Get "Egg-cited" For Fortnite's Next Major Update, "Spring Breakout"
There's plenty of new rewards and the Island is now covered in cherry blossoms and spring chickens.
Are you egg-cited for Fortnite’s first major update for Chapter 4 Season 2?
Starting April 11, the Spring Breakout begins in the battle royale. By completing quests, players will earn XP and rewards such as the Bloomback Sack Back Bling, the Shell Smash Spray, The Works Loading Screen, the Spring Breakout Banner Icon, the Nannerbloom Hammer Pickaxe, and the Fresh Flyer Glider.
Also, the island got a makeover. It’s now covered in cherry blossoms and spring chickens. The green and purple ones lay special eggs that provide players with temporary benefits upon interaction. Green eggs restore health and shield over time, blue ones grant low gravity and health, and golden eggs give Bars.
Players can find the Egg Launcher from the ground, chests, supply drops, for sale, or from the new Springtime Blowout Reality Augment.
Additionally, Epic Games added four Reality Augments to the battle royale game: Rail Warrior, Go For Broke, Aquatic Warrior, and Game Time. There’s eight Specialist Characters available, too, featuring four different types: Scout, Heavy, Supply, and Medical.
And there’s even more content not mentioned here, so check out the full details in the latest blog, including bug fixes and other changes.
