Learn A Bit About Sojourn A Former Captain Of Overwatch In The Latest Overwatch 2 Trailer
Sojurn describes her time with Overwatch to the International Justice Commission
Today, Blizzard dropped a new Overwatch 2 trailer focused on former Acting Commander Vivian Chase – otherwise known as Sojurn. In the video, Chase is responding to a formal inquiry about her time with the hero-filled organization. She explains how she joined Overwatch after working with them during the Omnic Crisis. She'd worked with Jack Morrison, who later contacted her and asked her to join.
She described her duties with Overwatch, stating that she did whatever was needed and always tried to bring everyone home alive. She loved her job. Still, in the end, she knew when it was time to leave.
When Overwatch 2's PvP beta takes place (Soon TM), Sojurn will be available for players to try out. Unfortunately, while the video is pretty interesting from a story perspective, it shows nothing about how she functions in-game, so we'll just have to wait to find out.
Note: Activision Blizzard is still under investigation by the state of California for serious harassment charges. CEO Bobby Kotick is alleged to have known about such actions within his company – and performed some himself – and shielded the perpetrators from consequences.
