Main Tank Software, in collaboration with Yogscast Games, has officially launched its new game: Hexarchy.

The game, now available on PC and Mac via Steam for $19.99, is a fusion of the 4X (exploration, expansion, exploitation, and extermination) and deck-building genres — designed to deliver intense strategic gameplay with match durations of under an hour. Set in a world of historical conflict, Hexarchy places players in the pivotal role of determining the outcome.

In the game, players engage in fast-paced clashes of wits and deck construction is crucial for success. Players have access to a wide array of technologies, governmental commandments, and game-altering abilities to enhance their units in battles. Diplomacy plays a significant role as well, offering options to barter resources, expand through conquest, or find a balance between the two.

Hexarchy supports multiplayer battles with up to 10 players, but for solo players, there's the weekly Hegemon competition, where you can lead your chosen civilization up the global leaderboard with the help of other strategists. The game also offers custom skirmish games, daily challenges, and fresh weekly campaigns.

“I couldn't be more thrilled to get Hexarchy out there into the world,” said Simon Byron, Director of Publishing at Yogscast Games. “It’s been great to see the game be received so well in the multiplayer playtests we’ve run in the past year, and I’m excited to see an already passionate and burgeoning online community grow further now we’ve launched.”
