Ahead Of Mad World's Next Alpha Test We Get A Peek At The Game On Mobile Devices
Final Alpha Test coming out soon!
Revealed today by developer Jandisoft is Mad World, a mobile hack-and-slash MMORPG with cross-platform play for PC players. By adopting the Korean MMORPG formula, it plans to present an exciting gameplay loop for players to enjoy.
Mad World has extremely dark and gritty game lore and aesthetic and seems to have an intricate storyline that'll take center stage. Its character/background designs will be unique since the developers use a hand-drawn technique to mold its visuals. Also, there's a fair bit of customization with its growth/combat system, claiming to be highly flexible for multiple ways to shred through enemies. To give you an idea of the combat, it's very similar to the Korean MMORPGs of today, boasting a button-mashy experience with bloated health bars all around.
The game will be playable across PC and mobile thanks to its development under HTML5 tech. Not to mention, you can easily play it on PC without installation, boosting accessibility. If you're curious about how Mad World is shaping up, there's a Final Alpha Test taking place on PC on May 25. After the test, the game will undergo more testing to knock out issues and launch sometime in the 3rd quarter of 2022. As of now, there are also plans to release on Steam, Facebook, and consoles, but unfortunately, we'll have to wait and see if that comes true.
