Great Move By Destiny 2 As The Team Makes Most Expansion Content Free For About A Month
PlayStation Plus players can even play Lightfall.
If you’re a Destiny 2 player who hasn’t picked up some of the game’s expansions, you’ll still have a chance to play through them – for a bit. Beginning today, Bungie is offering players of the shooter access to Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, and The Witch Queen. This access will run through June 3, so dedicated players might have a chance to knock out the content before it’s over.
For those people on PlayStation Plus, there’s a bonus. They will be able to access the game’s most recent expansion, Lightfall.
While having access to the various expansions, players can try out the Darkness subclasses Stasis and Strand, take part in three extra raids, and unlock new gear. They’ll also be able to play all Seasonal content from Destiny Year 6.
Of course, the whole thing will end, so this is where the developer would hope players are interested in purchasing the expansions for themselves. To that end, they have a special promotion available on the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Epic Games Store. (The bundle will be available on Steam on May 21.)
