Sea Of Thieves Drops A Deep Dive Video For Season 8, Prep Before Tomorrow's Release
The video offers a deeper look at the new PvP system.
If you’d like to know a bit more about the previously reported Sea of Thieves updated PvP system before it comes out tomorrow, the developers have your back. Earlier today they dropped a deep dive video explaining the new system and how it makes PvP easier for players.
The video explains how players pick factions, how their skill rating impacts matchmaking, and how the Hourglass of Fate fate works. The hourglass is tied heavily to PvP, so much so that running away from a fight will cause it to become unstable and eventually blow up the ship. So, uh… Maybe don’t do that.
