Skull And Bones Endgame

Yesterday, Ubisoft shared the details of Skull and Bones' open beta and a roadmap for the game’s first year in action. With very little time left between now and the launch of the open beta, the dev team is offering players more insight into what they can expect from the game. Most recently, the team decided to share details of the Skull and Bones endgame, where players live their best lives as Kingpins. For those wondering, that’s currently the highest Infamy ranking in the game.

Once a player earns Kingpin status, they’ll have a fleet of ships and plenty of weapons and need something to do with them. Most of those resources will likely be focused on continuing to build an empire. There are multiple ways to do this, such as capturing manufacturers that players might have traded or plundered earlier in the game. Why bother with all that when you can just be the boss?

Players can also participate in a PvPvE event named Hostile Takeover. In this event, players attack an outpost with a production chain, taking down their towers while defending themselves. Whoever does the most damage to the towers will gain control of the outpost’s factory, which will immediately bring in money for them. Of course, someone else will come looking to take the tower later, so they’ll have to be ready to fight for it.

Players can also take over manufacturers in another event named Legendary Heist. In these events, players take on merchant convoys, steal their inventory, and take it to a buyer to sell. The buyer then grants control of a manufacturer. This is a co-op event, but once players have the goods onboard their ship and are on their way to the buyer, other players can attack them.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an MMO without fighting some big beasts, so players will get to hunt sea monsters as well. Sounds dangerous, so have fun with that.
