Skull Bones Art Ubisoft's anticipated pirate game Skull and Bones has been delayed time and time again, this, coupled with limited gameplay footage may be leaving some fans uneasy about the title. However, it would seem that Ubisoft isn't too worried about this fact.

During a Q&A section of Ubisoft’s quarterly financial call, an investment analyst asked about what projected sales would be needed for the game to profit after such a long period of prolonged development. The Chief Financial Officer Frederick Duguet seemed unbothered by the astute question, responding with, “We’ve been very happy with the playtest that we’ve seen in early January, so we have a very strong improved version to show to players that they haven't seen yet. So this is really what we are going to leverage next month to drive more momentum on the game.”

Now, when exactly players are expected to see the ‘improved version’ has yet to be discussed he only hinted that it would be next month in March. However, with the company's track record, perhaps this too will be pushed back. Or maybe the company is hoping to show off the game and other projects during this year’s E3, as when questioned if Ubisoft would attend the event in person this year, CEO Yves Guillemot responded with “If E3 happens, we will be there and we will have a lot of things to show.”

Hopefully, Skull and Bones is included in the ‘a lot of things to show,’ if not released before then.

Riiiiight, "improved", just like the new Settlers game...I played the beta like a year ago and it was crap and guess what? It launched and it's still just as crap.
