Team 17 And Small Impact Games Announce Closed Alpha Test For PvPvE Looter Shooter Marauders
Pre-orders are also available.
In just a week, Team17 and Small Impact Games will be kicking off a closed alpha test of their upcoming PvPvE looter shooter Marauders. The test will be open to PC players from May 4 to May 9, offering players a chance to experience the game either in teams or solo. It’s all up to how they want to play.
Maurauders is a looter shooter made for sci-fi fans – and dieselpunk. Earth is about to collapse and chaos reigns. Players have not only each other to contend with, but plenty of AI opponents as well. Of course, they can try to go it alone, but there’s always safety in numbers and taking three other people with you can’t hurt. Combat takes place on a battleground in deep space and allows for sixteen participants.
The game features persistent gear and XP so players don’t have to worry about everything resetting each match. And, because it wouldn’t be a good sci-fi game without it, the in-game ships are upgradable just so they can be used in space-based dogfights.
Today’s CBT announcement is accompanied by the news that the game is now available for pre-order. It’s discounted by ten percent and offers access to the beta, so if this seems like your kind of thing, it might be worth looking at.
