MMO Achievements Unveiled: Feats That Prove You're a True MMO Gamer

Sometimes you need to accomplish something big, a feat so momentous that everyone must recognize your brilliance, an achievement so monumental that you can brag about it for years to come. These are some of the most prestigious achievements in MMO Games, accomplishments grand enough to be considered top of the class. Let's get started.

World of Warcraft - Invincible's Reins

Even now, years after Wrath of the Lich King was current content in World of Warcraft, many players choose to pursue the mount of the Lich King himself, Invincible. But just because you can farm it solo these days doesn't mean it's an easy mount to get. With just a 1% drop chance on Heroic 25-man mode, the mount is still highly sought after by collectors and a showpiece to the time and effort you're willing to put into accomplishing one thing.

Star Wars: The Old Republic - Legendary

Altaholics unite. One of the prestigious things you can accomplish in Star Wars: The Old Republic is to achieve Legendary status, which means you've played through the story chapters of every class in the game. It's not exceptionally difficult to do, but it is rather time-consuming, and if you're not into running alts then you won't ever achieve this feat.

The Elder Scrolls Online - Emperor

Want to be the Emperor? You can do it in The Elder Scrolls Online, but it won't be easy and you're gonna have to PvP. In order to be crowned Emperor in ESO your Alliance must control all six of the keeps surrounding the Imperial City, then you must be the highest-rated player in your Alliance. You'll get a costume and the Emperor title for your trouble.

Elite Dangerous - Full Ranking

Prestiging can be one of the most time-consuming feats in any MMO, and Elite Dangerous is no exception. You'll need to grind your way up to the max level, then start all over again. It's a significant time investment that some players deem worthy of the glory. Prestige ranking isn't on my short list of activities I enjoy, so kudos to those willing to put in the time and effort to do so.

Grand Theft Auto Online - Masterminds

If you've got a ton of cash in Grand Theft Auto Online and a willingness to be absolutely flawless, you can acquire the Masterminds achievement. You've got to be filthy rich to even begin the heist for this feat, then move with precision and purpose in order to succeed.

Quake 4 - Number One

Being number one on an online leaderboard is a tough challenge for most of us. Hell, I've never even come close to being in the absolute top spot of any online leaderboard. But Quake 4 wanted more. Not only did you need to be number one to get the achievement, you had to do it on every leaderboard in the game across every game type. Just let that sink in.

Final Fantasy XIV - Complete All of the Achievements

Want to feel like a filthy casual no matter how long you've been playing Final Fantasy XIV? One FFXIV player completed all of the achievements available in the game. How long did it take? Just over a decade. It's a true testament to dedication and perseverance. The goal itself is difficult enough, but to spend 10 years dedicated to it, that's a whole nother level.

And that's our list. Sound off in the comments with your most prestigious MMO achievement. I'm sure you've got some good ones, so let us know. This is your time to shine. Brag away!
