After Days Of Teases, Counter-Strike 2 Finally Launches, And We're Sure The Servers Will Be Fine...
It certainly is the "Dawn of A New Day".
Last week, the X (formerly Twitter) account for Counter-Strike decided to ask what we were all doing Wednesday. Obviously, this sparked the fires of specualtion that we could see Counter-Strike 2 launch in the shooter as an update file today.
Last night, the same social media account posted a "Dawn of the Final Day" meme a la The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and today the banner on said account has been updated to read "Dawn of A New Day."
What was missing from every tease indicating CS2 would launch today was a time. Now, we have that time.
It's now. Like right now. Just a few minutes ago the Counter-Strike servers were brought back online after some downtime and we're sure the servers are being pummeled by the over 26 million plus players that play CS:GO currently each month and a few more that are just curious. They'll hold up just fine, we're sure....
Planning on hopping into the game today...or at least trying to? Let us know if you're digging the sequel turned update below!
