Neverwinter's Jewel Of The North Update Comes To Consoles
Bards, reduced level cap, and revised new player experience.
Now Neverwinter players on consoles can annoy their party with their bards the same way their PC counterparts do, as the latest update, Jewel of the North, has arrived on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
As we learned during our preview of the PC update, the bard class has two different specialities: one based around healing and support and one focused on dishing out damage. You can also press Tab to pull up your "free play" bar to rock out some tunes. In fact, some NW players are doing just that, like Armand and his delightful rendition of Chariots of Fire. That's great, but let's hope it's not too great and triggers a DMCA takedown.
Jewel of the North also reworks Neverwinter's progression, dropping the max level down from 80 to 20, and makes things simpler for new players with a revamped tutorial and early-game adventuring system and a new training room.
