Following its second successful Beta test, the fable-infused racing adventure Tales Runner is finally shifting gears into full release. A lot of new content such as maps, modes, characters, mini-games and even events as well new exclusive goodies in the growing cash shop are planned for the racers recent launch.

The bright and colorful realms of Tales Runner are aesthetically dazzling, yet familiar to the eyes of one with a passion for fairy tales. Racers are pit against each other in worlds such as Jack and the Bean Stalk and Alice in Wonderland, racing through child hood memories like an old man eating candy.

PvP racing in Tales Runner consists of up to 30 players darting for the finish line, competing in several classic modes such as relay and co-op, and also a Survival mode-- typically unheard of in the racing genre. This along with some intriguing PvE content, social venues and mini-games that have friends racing their pets and teaming up against various bosses and quests sets Tales Runner aside from the average racer.

This game is very fun,IMO. I never played it back when it was hosted by gpotato, but I was in the CBT,and have been playing since the official OBT launch. So long as the community holds together and doesn't attract too many jerks (and overabundance of mean and/or annoying players would make this game seem like a chore rather than a fun activity),I foresee it doing well.

i wonder how much time its gonna take to shut down again because of the hackers,we all know this was a good game back then but then like always some guys that like to use hacks screw up the fun ,so u was unable to win a race anymore

glad this game is coming back. it was really fun and i was very disappointed when it shut down. sounds like they revamped it. i don't remember there ever being 30 racers on a map at once. definitely downloading it again.

first played it at a game conference in austin, tx. i'm pretty sure their booth was the most consistently full. they had another game too, but don't remember what it was.

i used to play this game a long time ago, if im not wrong. the game was shut down because of "speed-hacks", so it's not fun to NEVER WIN from that dude you know? youre trying your best adn the dude got a hack lol
so people was like: damn, why even bother. it was fun though

It's nice to see something other than the typical over-hyped RPGs and MOBAs.
There's a lot of games being made that get no attention at all.
